Car Tour for Older Cars

pic3Club member John Julius is interested in setting up a shorter, slower-paced trip for those with older cars if there is enough interest. Be sure to let him know if you would like to participate on such a trip, as well as what you feel is a reasonable distance. You can comment on this post.

I am interested in putting together a local antique auto / tour of areas-of-interest for our Church’s”Silver Saints” (over 50) group…(approcimately 30 – 45 people).

I would anticipate we would have need for about 12 to 15 antique vehicles that could each seat 3 – 4 passengers. Sauk and Columbia County would be the travel plan, taking in mostly rural sites, such as the International Crane Fdn., and the Aldo Leopold Cabin… and some members historical birthplaces, etc.
We do have one member with an antique model A (or model T), but I have no background personally. I would like to explore what would be possible, costs, conditions, etc. involved with such a venture.

My cell phone number is (608) 963-0785, and I would appreciate a call just to explore possibilities of such a group tour being organized for mid-September of 2012.

If you are not the right person for me to be talking to, perhaps you could steer me to a proper source.
    Thank you and God bless,
    Pastor Jim
